Job summary
We are currently seeking a Play Specialist to be part of our outreach services that we provide to our Rainbows Community inside and outside the hospice. Providing therapeutic and generic, play and leisure activities for babies, children and young people at Rainbows, creating meaningful and enjoyable memories in a safe and caring environment.
Main duties of the job
As well as ensuring all children have access to play and planning appropriate activities based on a childs needs, you will be responsible for providing assistance, guidance and leadership to the wider Play Team of 3. Supporting the team by overseeing all activities, promoting and maintaining good team work and working alongside the Family Support Lead on any Employee Relation activities. This is full time role hours Monday- Friday with some weekend working for events, for example; Family Fun Days and annual Christmas party.
