This large SEN School based in East London is a place where pupils can find Fulfilment, Belonging and greater Independence. They serve young people aged from 3 to 19, with severe learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties and autism, and profound and multiple learning difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide personal care and support to students.
2. Assist in the development and implementation of educational plans.
3. Support students in their learning and social interactions.
4. Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all students.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Have sensitivity and understanding.
2. Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
3. Enjoy working with other people.
4. Flexible and open to change.
5. Excellent verbal communication skills.
6. The ability to understand people's reactions.
7. Active listening skills.
8. Have an enhanced DBS or be prepared to apply for one.
