Calero, the leading technology expense management solution for complex enterprises, is looking for a bright and enthusiastic Senior Software Engineer to join one of our high performing agile teams in the UK (mainland). Reporting to the Senior Director of Engineering, you will get the opportunity to work on innovative, highly visible and business critical software that gets used every day within the world’s largest financial institutions and multi-national organizations.
The role and skills
The role involves working on a cross-functional agile team, with a focus on quality through all stages of development. You will need to be a good communicator who works well within a team environment. You will work with a product owner and other team members to help plan, develop, test and support products – taking responsibility for the full development lifecycle.
You should have a foundation in software engineering principles and paradigms and be passionate about new technologies. This is an opportunity to work with a large range of different technologies and we encourage people to actively develop their skills in areas they are not familiar with. The key technical requirement for this role is to have a solid background in C# .NET, MS SQL Server and React expertise with experience with JS and front-end technologies.
You should have at least 3 years’ experience developing commercial software. Experience interacting with business end users is a plus.
