The Housing Register team is an extremely busy service with a small team of 2 officers, with daily contact with the public and other agencies. We receive a growing number of applications consistent with the national crisis’ alongside their daily duties which include some of the following: • Processing of online applications • Making & receiving calls • Applications requiring validation - Processing changes made • Emails • Home visits • General correspondence • Medical assessments • NFI’s - (national fraud initiative) • Responding to web messages • Attending to OT meetings/ out coming the reports • Good basic level of education • Experience of good organisational skills and time management • Experience of excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience of managing and prioritising workloads • Experience of being a team player and supporting other team members. • Working as well in a team as well as on initiative • Experience of working with computer systems such as Microsoft office When joining the council, you can enjoy a range of benefits including: 25 days annual leave, flexible working and excellent training and development opportunities.
