The role
As the company continues to expand their market presence, they are seeking a dynamic and results-driven marketing executive to join the team. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to increasing brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities will include the following areas:
Strategic Planning:
1. Collaboration with the marketing team to develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
2. Analysing market trends, competitors, and customer behaviours to identify opportunities for growth.
Digital Marketing:
1. Managing digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, and email marketing.
2. Creation of engaging content for online channels to enhance brand visibility and drive website traffic.
3. Monitoring and analysing digital marketing to optimise campaign performance.
Content Creation:
1. Develop compelling and targeted content for various platforms, including website, blog posts, whitepapers, and case studies.
2. Ensure there is consistency in messaging and brand representation across all communication channels.
Event Management:
1. Coordinate and execute participation in industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
2. Work with the sales team to maximise lead generation and brand exposure at events.
Market Research:
1. Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
Collaboration:
1. Liaison with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and customer service to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
2. Foster strong relationships with external partners, agencies, and stakeholders.
The Person
Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, for this role we are seeking someone who is looking for a busy and diverse role with the following skills and attributes:
Ideally educated to Degree level within a relevant Marketing subject, but not essential.
1. Experience in B2B marketing, preferably within a technical or industrial setting.
2. In-depth experience with HubSpot CRM or similar is required.
3. A good understanding of website and marketing analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and SEMrush, with preferred knowledge of WordPress, HTML, and CSS desirable.
4. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign) is required.
5. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills.
6. Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage and inform.
7. Experience in planning and leading initiatives.
8. Knowledge of optimising landing pages and user funnels.
9. A good understanding of A/B testing.
10. Self-motivated and enjoys achieving targets and results.
11. Good at organising and managing your own time.
12. Brilliant attention to detail.
13. Sound copywriting skills across all marketing platforms.
14. The ability to work accurately within a fast-paced environment.
15. Excellent multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise your own workload.
16. Super people skills and able to build good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
17. Happy to travel occasionally and work outside of standard hours to support marketing activity and projects, including national and international exhibitions and events.
Details
This role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis, and the working hours are 37.5 hours a week: Monday – Thursday 08:30 – 17:00 and Friday 08:30 – 15:45 (with a 45 min unpaid lunch).
The salary offered is dependent on experience and offers some excellent benefits as well as the opportunity to progress and grow within the business. This includes regular social events and get-togethers, as well as some great benefits too.
