The Role
A fantastic opportunity for anyone seeking the opportunity to progress their business administration career with an established and leading local manufacturer. This role would be open to those that have already completed an NVQ Level 2 Apprenticeship in Administration / Customer Service or to anyone keen to take on the Apprenticeship.
Candidates will need to have had some previous work experience, ideally within administration or customer services, and have excellent attention to detail, accuracy and IT skills. As the role sits within the Customer Service team, strong, confident communication skills are a must.
The Apprentice Administrator will report to the Customer Service Manager and be responsible for carrying out day-to-day duties within the team.
Responsibilities
1. Be solely responsible for incoming and outgoing Departmental post.
2. Answer inbound sales and stock related telephone calls.
3. Input direct orders via phone, email and from Business Managers.
4. Input of Sampling Requests.
5. Respond to stock enquiries from both Retailer and Business Managers.
6. Liaise with logistics on stock location / transfer and despatch.
7. Report delivery information to the Retailer and Business Manager.
8. Process Advertising Response.
9. Support Customer Service team with administrative duties.
10. Liaise with the Production team.
11. Communicate and act upon information received from Credit Control.
12. Process account maintenance amendments on an adhoc basis.
13. Conduct price checks and highlight any discrepancies.
Requirements
14. Good verbal and written communication skills, at GSCE grade 4 or above.
15. Flexible & adaptable to a changing work requirement.
16. Self motivated (drive, determination & enthusiasm) & able to work on own initiative.
17. Ability to organise and prioritise a demanding workload.
18. Well organised with ability to multi-task.
19. NVQ level 2 Administration / Customer Service (or willing to take on apprenticeship).
20. Problem Solving, negotiation / diplomacy.
21. IT literate in using Microsoft packages.
22. Good analytical, numerical and problem solving skills.
Starting Salary up to £23,.
25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Based in Kidderminster, Worcestershire.
Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm.
