Description 11 – 16 Co-educational Comprehensive NOR 1469 Required as soon as possible Casual Exam Invigilators £13.45 per hour We are currently seeking to recruit further invigilators to provide support to the Examinations Officer during examination periods, and on a flexible basis at other times throughout the academic year. This will involve morning or afternoon sessions on an ‘as and when’ required basis. Invigilators must be prepared to work unsupervised, under exam conditions, in individual classrooms with small numbers of students. The role is a regulated activity; the successful applicant will be working with children on a regular basis. Duties to include: • assisting with setting up examination rooms • dealing with queries in accordance with JCQ Regulations and College policy • the supervision of students during examinations and escorting them to areas outside of the examination room • attend meetings/training sessions as required The successful candidates will be flexible as to working hours, be committed and have excellent communication skills. They will also be highly organised and have the ability to work under pressure with a good degree of accuracy. Further details can be found in the job description.
