Time Commitment: Flexible. We’ll work around you and your availability. We anticipate 3-5 hours a week to get us up and running.
About us:
Art for All is a community-driven initiative in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, offering creative art sessions for adults living with mental health conditions. We provide a welcoming, supportive space where people can use art therapeutically to manage and improve mental health and wellbeing.
We are looking for a Marketing Volunteer/s to play a vital role in helping us build a strong online presence to promote our aim. You’ll develop our website, establish and grow our social media presence and generate awareness - and potentially funding opportunities - through your creative marketing efforts.
About the Role: Key Responsibilities:
* Website Development & Management: Help develop and manage our website to ensure it acts as a “shop window”, including creating content which communicates our aim, events, and services
* Social Media Strategy: Set up and manage social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) to grow organic engagement
* Fundraising Support: Help us create and implement strategies for fundraising initiatives, including promotions and identifying new partnership opportunities.
* Creative Content Creation: Design promotional materials such as posters/flyers and graphics for events or campaigns, ensuring they align with our brand and messaging.
* PR & Media: Draft and distribute press releases, pitch stories, and build relationships with media outlets to help raise awareness of our charity’s work in the community.
* Monitoring & Reporting: Track engagement, website traffic, and other marketing metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and make recommendations for improvement
About you: skills and experience:
* Experience with website creation or management
* Familiarity with growing and managing social media accounts organically, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement strategies
* Ability to create visually appealing promotional materials, including posters, social media graphics and digital assets (experience with tools like Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator is a plus).
* Strong writing skills for creating engaging and clear content for websites, social media, blogs, and press releases
* An interest in developing strategies to raise funds or build partnerships with businesses, influencers, or other organisations.
* A "get-things-done" attitude, especially because our resources are limited; able to think creatively and make the most of what we’ve got
* Passion to make a difference, particularly for people who may face additional barriers
Why Join Us?
This could be your ideal opportunity to build your portfolio with real-world marketing experience from the ground up. We’re growing and looking to become registered with the Charity Commission, so it’s an exciting and rewarding time to join us and sprinkle your creative magic.
* Be part of a charity that makes a real difference in the community for people to use art therapeutically to manage and improve mental health and wellbeing
