Maintenance Co-ordinator Location: Dorking (Need to be flexible for travel) Salary between £32,000 to £36,000 (Depending on experience) 37.5 hours per week full time Our client is looking for a Maintenance Coordinator to assist in organising plant and site maintenance activities. You will be required to liaise with Operations Supervision to understand maintenance needs then communicate upcoming servicing and repairs. Liaise with Contractors to arrange and perform servicing and repairs to Buildings, Plant and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Duties of Maintenance Coordinator: Ensure plant, equipment and facilities comply with and are maintained to relevant Health, Safety and Environmental Regulations, by means of liaising and supporting external Contractors. Ensure departmental procedures are adhered to and maintained. Maintain and administer company plant register and all other test and monitoring records (i.e. Plant and Building Service records, LEV, COSHH, lifting equipment, PAT, Legionella, Waste Stream arrangements and documentation, etc). So being prepared for internal and external audits. Carry out induction of Contractors, maintaining associated records. Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in a safe manner to Health and Safety regulations. Produce and maintain risk assessments as required. Review and authorise Contractor Risk assessments and Method Statements, (Safe Systems of Work). Carry out preventative maintenance projects and research, helping to produce Capital Expenditure budgets and Applications. Establishing and renewing asset servicing and spare part inventories. The Person: Strong organisational skills are required - must be able to prioritise Good communication skills Project Management skills an advantage 3-5 Years in a similar role Hands on Mechanical and/or Electrical maintenance. Understand working principles of machinery & plant, including Mechanical and/or Electrical Maintenance Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs is essential for this position, and you must also be willing to learn new skills and then implement them within your role.
