Job Description Funded by the Long-term Town Fund, and working with Moray Crime and ASB Tactical Group, to analyse all reports of ASB and relevant crime, from Moray Council, Police Scotland and partners, to highlight patterns and hotspots, to ensure that partner resources are focussed in the right areas. Highlight areas of partner services for review and improvement, and assist with Performance Measurement and Service Planning duties. Evaluation of ASB projects. Requirements To develop involvement of key partners in the sharing, provision, and use of data To analyse information and identify problems. To provide and present reports to the Crime and ASB Tactical Group and the Community Safety Strategic Group, enabling partners to find cost effective and sustainable solutions. To advise on and assist with Performance Management and Service Planning duties. Promote a risk management approach to ASB reduction across Moray. To assist with research requirements to support strategic planning. Participate in the Council’s Employee Review and Development Programme. The Individual Proven track record of working with the collection and presentation of information using IT systems. Experience of performance management and statistical analysis. Degree level and or Relevant Professional Qualification or demonstrable experience. Problem solving/analytical. Computer literate including knowledge of Microsoft Office. Able to use own initiative. Effective organisational and time management skills. Self confident and self motivated. Information development. Advanced in standard IT packages (specifically Excel functionality). Ability to interpret information. Ability to research and present information. Ability to manage and prioritise workload. Evidence of achieving improvements. Capacity to work under pressure. Effective team working skills with the ability to contribute to the improvement of the service. Excellent oral and written communication skills, a positive outlook and ability to relate to people at all levels. Able to form productive working relationships with various Chief Officers, Council officials and members of the public. Ability to work in a shared office or at home as required. Ability to work in different offices dependent upon service requirements. Closing date: 14 March 2025 Starting salary: £37,209.90/ or £19.74 per hour 30 hours per week - 52 weeks per year. Temporary 1 year contract with the possibility of extending for a further year.
