Background\n\nCurrently representing a successful private engineering consultancy in the UK, who are seeking skilled Structural Engineers to join their office in a Newcastle based office. This hire is driven by a healthy, robust project pipeline and offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects across numerous industries, such as residential, retail and industrial sectors.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nAct as the technical lead on projects of varying sizes.\n\nCollaborate with and guide design team members to develop coordinated design solutions aligned with client objectives.\n\nConduct structural assessments and inspections of new and existing structures made from concrete, masonry, steel, and timber.\n\nPerform analysis and design using various software tools, including advanced structural design software.\n\nEnsure high-quality standards and consistency in technical outputs such as drawings and reports.\n\nProduce comprehensive technical reports, including structural surveys.\n\nQualifications and Experience\n\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering.\n\nChartered or near-chartered status (e.g., MICE or MIStructE).\n\nDiverse experience with common construction types and building forms.\n\nFamiliarity with relevant design codes.\n\nStrong report writing, communication, and numerical skills.\n\nEssential experience in structural analysis and design, along with proficiency in relevant software.\n\nMinimum of 10 years of professional experience.\n\nA full clean driving license is required.\n\nWhat's on offer?\n\nThis permanent position includes a competitve salary - up to £60,000 (dependant on experience) alongside an extensive benefits package
