Your Responsibilities:
* Oversee multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
* Diagnose building defects and implement appropriate remediation solutions.
* Apply comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and engineering principles specific to remediation work.
* Ensure all projects comply with building regulations, health and safety requirements, and industry standards.
* Manage JCT Design and Build contracts, ensuring obligations are met.
* Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and tender documentation.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with building defect remediation.
* Manage project budgets, track expenses, and optimise resource allocation.
* Utilise project management software and BIM/AutoCAD tools.
* Implement and enforce on-site health and safety protocols.
* Prepare emergency response plans for site incidents.
What You’ll Need:
* Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
* 5+ years’ experience in project management, specifically within remediation and construction.
* Expertise in construction methods, materials, and engineering principles related to remediation work in residential settings.
* Familiarity with JCT Design and Build contracts.
* Knowledge of current UK and Ireland building control regulations affecting remediation works.
* Awareness of safety codes and changes in construction legislation.
* Strong understanding of sustainable building practices.
* Excellent communication, IT, and leadership skills.
* Ability to motivate and manage multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and consultants.
* Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Willingness to travel to project sites.
Nice to Have:
* A Master’s degree in a related field is a plus.
