We have a vacancy for a clerical officer to primarily assist our paediatric hearing service but the role will involve providing clerical support across all our paediatric services at St Michael's Hospital. There will be some opportunity to work alongside patients and clinicians in a clinical setting as well as occasional NICU Reception duties. Main duties of the job Our paediatric services at St Michael's Hospital cover Paediatric Audiology, Paediatric Ear, Nose & Throat, Foetal Cardiology and Neonatology. We are a specialist referral centre for neonatal surgery, cardiology and complex ENT cases and treat patients from all over the Southwest, South Wales and occasionally further afield. We are looking for an individual that can help support our busy departments with all administrative tasks from typing to staffing the ward's reception and clinical areas. This role will be primarily supporting the paediatric hearing service, but the successful applicant will be trained in the wider paediatric specialties at St Michael's hospital to enable a more varied working environment.The post holder will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.You will require an enhanced DBS check for this role.
