Work location: It is anticipated that a hybrid working pattern can be adopted for this role, where you can work from home and the office. However, as this role is contractually aligned to our Milton Keynes office it is expected that some attendance in the office will be required when necessary and in response to business needs.

As Personal Assistant (PA), you will be responsible for providing personal and comprehensive administrative support to the Associate Director (AD) of Strategy, Planning and Operations, IET. The role includes complex diary management, organising and supporting meetings, and acting as the main point of contact for the AD of Strategy, Planning and Operations.
You will work collaboratively with the Executive Personal Assistant (EPA), internal colleagues, and other contacts from across the University. A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is required. The ability to communicate accurately and effectively on behalf of the AD with colleagues and other stakeholders of varying seniority across the organisation is necessary.
Essential Requirements
* Education to A-level standard or equivalent, including English and Mathematics at GCSE level.
* Excellent IT skills including a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
* Experience of working in a senior secretarial and administrative role including managing a busy, complex electronic diary.
* Excellent organisation, planning, and time management skills.
* Evidence of high level administrative and clerical skills, demonstrating a methodical and accurate approach to work and an excellent attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
