Are you an English ECT looking for your first teaching opportunity? Did you obtain at least a 2:1 English-related degree from a UK Top 20 university?
If so, this could be the role for you! I am currently working with a wonderful secondary school in Richmond that is seeking an English ECT to join their team in September 2024.
English ECT | The Role:
* Permanent English ECT role starting September 2024
* OFSTED rated 'Outstanding' secondary school in Richmond
* Highly experienced members of staff in place to mentor and support the ECT programme
* Salary: Outer London Pay Scale | MPS
English ECT | Personal Specification:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
* Obtained at least a 2:1 English-related degree from a UK Top 20 university
* Recent observations demonstrate ability to 'Meet' or 'Exceed' the Teaching Standards
* Confident with GCSE / A-Level English planning and teaching (English Literature and/or English Language)
This Richmond-based secondary school is continually evolving its practice and pedagogy to align with current research. They achieve exceptional GCSE and A-Level results year on year and have high behaviour and academic expectations of all pupils. They are keen to employ an English ECT who can implement the same approach in the classroom.
