Mobile Service Engineer
Key responsibilities include delivering and collecting wheelchairs, servicing and repairing wheelchairs in the field, and ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately. Additional duties include maintaining a professional customer service attitude, prioritizing workloads, and maintaining tools and equipment.
Required qualifications include a full UK driving licence, successful enhanced DBS check, general workshop knowledge, and basic electrical knowledge. Experience of face-to-face customer contact, previous delivery driver experience, and awareness of people with disabilities are also necessary.
The role requires flexibility, the ability to use own initiative, and good written and verbal communication skills. Physical demands include moving and handling equipment, standing at a bench, and kneeling/crouching.
