Passenger Assistant Role Summary:
The Passenger Assistant is responsible for overseeing the safe transportation of children and young individuals with special educational needs and disabilities within the Liverpool City region.
This includes assisting passengers in and out of vehicles at pickup and drop-off points, ensuring their comfort and safety through the use of necessary equipment and protocols.
Salary Range: £18,000 - £22,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities on home-to-school transport
* Assist passengers into and out of vehicles, ensuring comfortable and secure seating
* Utilize specialist safety equipment as required
* Maintain a safe and orderly environment during transport
