Job Title: Chief Operating Officer

Salary:£120,000pa plus annual discretionary bonus and benefits.
An established and self-sustaining privately owned Property Management and Lettings business managing a considerable and growing private residential portfolio is seeking an accomplished, capable, and ambitious Property Management and Lettings expert to take the business to the next level over the next 10 years.
This is an incredible and rare opportunity. In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and ensuring operational excellence of the business. As the Chief Operating Officer, you will lead, manage, and inspire a talented and loyal team, including property managers, maintenance staff, accounts personnel, and tenancy management.
Responsibilities of the Chief Operating Officer:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive 10-year growth plan aligned with business objectives.
* Identify new business opportunities to drive expansion and revenue growth.
* Implement scalable operational processes and technology solutions that support business growth.
* Build and lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Oversee the daily operations of property management, including lettings, maintenance, and tenant services.
* Provide strategic leadership to drive operational excellence and business growth.
* Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency.
* Manage budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost control to ensure profitability.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
* Manage a diverse team of property managers, maintenance staff, and administrative personnel.
* Monitor key performance indicators and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
* Oversee contract negotiations with suppliers and service providers.
* Coordinate improvement projects and oversee maintenance schedules.
* Resolve operational challenges and customer issues promptly and effectively.
Requirements:
* Proven leadership experience in a similar role within the Property Management or Lettings industry.
* Comprehensive understanding of both current and emerging lettings and management legislation.
* Strong strategic and financial acumen with the ability to drive business growth.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of managing and inspiring teams.
* A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
