Job Opportunity for Graduates in the Creative Industries Department - Accounting with Exposure to Tax Are you a graduate with a relevant degree and a passion for accounting? This is an exciting opportunity for you to join a busy and expanding firm, specialising in the entertainment and arts sectors, including Film, Theatre, Animation, and Video Games. We are looking for someone eager to start their career in accounting or has a year or so experience who is looking for an opportunity to work closely with creative industry clients. Full training will be provided, so prior experience in the creative industry is not required. Main Duties: Prepare financial statements from client trial balances or books of prime entry Liaise directly with clients to gather necessary information at the start of a job Address client queries related to entertainment industry issues Collaborate with the Creative Industries tax department staff Build and maintain strong relationships with clients Manage your own workflow and communicate progress to managers/department heads Work to both statutory and client-imposed deadlines Ensure compliance with professional standards and ethics Update and manage the client database Review and follow up with clients whose period end has passed within 4 weeks Assist with clerical and administrative duties, including typing, printing, answering calls, scheduling appointments, and email correspondence Carry out other tasks as required within the job scope Whats of offer: Full study support and training for the ACCA Fast career progression and regular liaison with managers and partners. 25 days holiday plus bank holiday even for trainees Hybrid working (three days in the office) Flexi working policy Fantastic opportunity to work within the creative industry What we are looking for: A relevant university degree ideally in accounting, finance or mathematics. A good academic background. Excellent communication skills An interested in working with theatre clients. Some exposure to preparing accounts would be ideal but not essential.
