The business we are representing is a leading distributor of instantly recognisable branded health and beauty products. Over recent years, the company has developed a strong presence across the Grocery, Convenience, Pharmacy, and Wholesale channels. Their success and excellent culture have been recognised with a number of prestigious awards. With significant growth in recent years, they have established themselves as a leading supplier within their categories. As a result, they are now seeking a talented Brand Manager to manage a portfolio of healthcare brands and drive their continued success.
Responsibilities
The business is seeking a dynamic, ambitious, and highly motivated Brand Manager.
Key objectives include:
1. Marketing Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement brand and trade marketing plans in collaboration with the Marketing Director and wider teams.
Lead the marketing strategy for a key OTC medicine brand.
Identify growth opportunities within the product categories.
2. Campaign & Agency Management:
Brief and manage advertising, media, point-of-sale, and packaging design agencies to ensure campaigns align with brand objectives.
Work with agencies to develop creative executions, including OOH and digital campaigns.
Manage PR and sponsorship activities.
3. Product & Budget Management:
Lead brand marketing efforts for new product launches, ensuring timely and budget-conscious execution.
Monitor and manage brand expenditure.
4. Performance Analysis & Reporting:
Analyse competitor activity to identify opportunities and inform brand strategy.
Measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and optimise where necessary.
Provide regular updates on brand performance, including monthly and quarterly business reports.
5. Additional Responsibilities:
Support any other reasonable tasks related to the role as needed.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should currently be operating at Assistant Brand Manager or Brand Manager level, with relevant and recent marketing experience in a consumer-facing role. A strong understanding of the Grocery and/or Pharmacy trade sectors is preferred, along with experience in Healthcare, OTC, or licensed medicines. Familiarity with highly regulated markets is advantageous. A recognised marketing qualification is preferred.
Location
This is a home based role. Ideally, the successful candidate will be able to visit the company’s London office once a week.
Benefits
£50,000 to £60,000, 15% bonus, Healthcare, up to 10% Pension contribution & wider benefits.
