As a key player in an electrical distribution company serving aviation clients, the Operations Manager is hands-on, with the ability to perform most warehouse tasks directly. Operation Managers responsibilities:
* Manage the picking, packing, and dispatch processes to meet timeliness and accuracy standards for customer shipments.
* Ensure the warehouse is well-organized, secure, and that stock is stored correctly and safely. Maintain continuous stock checks and streamline stores consolidation activities.
* Supervise the goods-inward process with support from the Goods Receiving Leader, ensuring all incoming shipments are inspected, recorded, and stored appropriately. Customer returns must also be processed in line with company protocols.
* Act as a liaison with shipping companies to maintain required service levels and explore opportunities for improving courier services.
* Support senior management with change initiatives, actively participating in discussions for long-term improvements. Lead by example in implementing changes, training team members, and updating procedural documentation as needed.
