This is an exciting opportunity to join the Business Partnering Team at Hampshire and Isle of Wight ICB as a Band 6 Management Accountant on either a secondment or fixed term basis for a duration of 12 months.
To provide finance management support and advice to the management of budgets as part of the business partnering finance team. The key elements will be providing financial advice, budget setting, monthly reporting, and variance analysis to budget holders.
Ensure accurate and open communication and co-ordination with a range of individuals across the organisation, researching and drafting correspondence and papers and ensuring the management of specific tasks, lead reporting and analysis across a range of specialties, functions and projects.
Be a key member of the team as well as supporting effective communication and stakeholder management, both internally and externally.
Main duties of the job
The role will involve matrix working supporting the Senior Finance Managers for Acute and Mental Health providing senior management accounting support to both teams across a variety of programme areas as well as line managing a Senior Finance Assistant.
You will be able to combine good technical accountancy skills, with experience and evidence at interview of communicating Finance to Non-Finance professionals. You will also need to be part of a committed team and so will have the ability to work well in a team and to deadlines and be able to prioritise workload.
