Deputy Clerk – Chepping Wycombe Parish Council

The post holder will support our Clerk, together with the Assistant Clerk, in carrying out the day-to-day work of the Parish Council, including servicing a committee meeting and dealing with enquiries. The post holder will be expected to deputise for the Clerk during periods of absence.
The ideal applicant will have administrative experience, strong IT skills, must be approachable, and have good personal skills. A knowledge of local government would be desirable but not essential. The candidate should be able to demonstrate enthusiasm for working with residents and local organisations.
The position is offered up to 37 hours per week but not less than 30 hours a week and will include some evening meetings. Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 (FTE)
