Key responsibilities will include:
1. Carrying out daily checks to maintain site compliance.
2. Inspecting and assessing products against specifications through all stages of production.
3. Reporting any quality issues to line manager.
4. Inspecting raw materials to ensure consistency and integrity.
5. Ensuring shelf-life is conducted; data recorded and reporting any failures.
6. Filling out and reviewing production paperwork.
7. Maintaining retention samples.
8. Calibration of probes as requested.
What are we looking for:
1. Previous experience in a QA role, preferably in a BRC-accredited factory.
2. Previous food manufacturing experience.
3. Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
4. An eye for detail, to catch defects.
5. A natural communicator and team worker.
6. A good level of written and spoken English.
7. Ability to work using initiative.
8. Flexible and adaptable.
9. Basic IT skills.
10. Confident and willing to learn.
11. Pioneer.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.00-£14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
