We are looking for a Pensions Administrator with experience in a similar role who is looking for a new challenge and who wants to be part of this exciting period of growth.
We will rely on you to:
* Perform pensions calculations, enter pensions data and answer enquiries to the required standard using both automated and non-automated manual/system processes across a wide range of member or scheme events.
* Promptly and professionally communicate with clients and scheme members on queries when required via letter, e-mail, telephone and where necessary virtually.
* Be accurate and responsible for pension payroll calculations/reporting.
* Ensure requests and questions are handled effectively and efficiently.
* Be a champion of change and provide opinions if you have an idea to create further efficiencies within our business.
* Take overall responsibility for the accuracy of information contained within our back office systems.
* Continuously achieve Service Level objectives and timeframes agreed with our clients.
What you need to have:
* Previous pensions administration experience (DC essential, DB preferable addition)
* Experience of DC pension calculations, including salary sacrifice and relief at source.
* Knowledge and willingness to learn about different workplace pension schemes.
* A good working knowledge of the automatic-enrolment legislation, including re-enrolment.
* A good understanding of the generics of pension provider systems and administration processes.
* The ability to work effectively across Microsoft Office suite, Office 365 and back office databases.
* Confidence to communicate effectively.
What makes you stand out:
* Past experience as administrator – for example where you have previously worked in pension administration or workplace pension administration.
* A good level of experience and ability to work with large data sets in Microsoft Excel.
* Pensions payroll support – for example a working knowledge of DC payroll implementation and experience of different payroll systems.
* Providing assistance to advisers/consultants on advisory projects.
* Previous experience of DB pensions.

* To use initiative and be a good problem solver with ability to generate practical solutions.
Essential Qualifications / Experience And Technical Skills
* Educated to A level standard or equivalent / above.
* Experience carrying out a similar role, either in an advisory business, EBC or pension provider.
* Studying towards industry recognised qualifications.
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience in financial services pensions administration.
