Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for recent psychology graduates looking to build on their clinical experience in a psychological therapies service. We are looking for Clinical Support Workers to join our dynamic and creative service. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, Cognitive Behavioural Therapists, Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs), and Clinical Support Workers.

Main Duties of the Job
You will provide brief telephone screening assessment under close supervision, as well as help with processing referrals and other administrative tasks.
Your usual pattern of working will be Monday to Friday. On four days a week, you will be working 9 am - 5 pm, and one day a week you will be working 12 pm - 8 pm. We are currently looking for full-time only.
We are currently working remotely 2 days a week and from the office 3 days a week. You will be expected to attend in person for induction and training purposes.
Lambeth is a borough of high social and psychological needs with considerable cultural diversity. We would particularly welcome candidates who are fluent in Portuguese or Spanish (we have a large Portuguese and Latin American community) or who represent our black and ethnic minority population.

Job Responsibilities
The primary purpose is to support and enhance the psychological care of service users of Lambeth NHS Talking Therapies Service.
The Clinical Support Worker role is a combined clinical and administrative role. Duties will include: conducting brief telephone triage assessment calls with supervision support; managing waiting lists for a specific care pathway; assisting in administration, data entry, and clerical tasks, as well as being the first point of contact for service users and professionals.
The post holder will work within the overall framework of the team and adhere to the team policies and procedures. They will be supported by regular supervision and line management with a qualified clinician. This opening is ideal for recent psychology graduates planning a career in clinical psychology / psychological therapies and keen to develop experience in working with adults presenting with common mental health problems.
There may be scope for more experienced Clinical Support Workers to facilitate SilverCloud, an online Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) intervention program, subject to service need.
This post is a busy one, a clinical post with high administrative and clinical demands. Lambeth NHS Talking Therapies consists of approximately 100 clinical and administration staff providing a service across Lambeth. This is a borough of high social and psychological needs with considerable cultural diversity. The service sees clients with a wide range of common mental illnesses and varying levels of severity. Many clients present with multiple problems including social, housing, and employment issues.
The post is 1.0 WTE. A full-time working week is 37.5 hours per week, with four days from 9 am to 5 pm, and one evening per week from 12 pm to 8 pm if required. We are not currently able to support any part-time posts.
