Clinical Systems Trainer Band 5 - 30 Hours Per Week
The post holder will be part of a team responsible for delivering training for the clinical applications managed by the ICT department and supporting the delivery of new system implementations or system upgrades.
Main duties of the job
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and positive individual to join our ICT Department as part of the Clinical Programme Team. The post holder will be part of a team responsible for delivering training for the clinical applications managed by the ICT department and supporting the delivery of new system implementations or upgrades.
We are looking for an individual with good communication skills (both verbal and written) and a keen eye for detail. This post holder will be required to work independently and within a team.
The individual is also required to have a good understanding of Microsoft Outlook and computer skills.

Person Specification
* Able to explain complex issues to non IM & T staff within the Trust and to stakeholders - Clinical and non-clinical
* Excellent written skills to coordinate the delivery of training documentation
* Database administration
* Knowledge of Health service software systems
* Public speaking to large audiences (demos)
Knowledge/Qualifications
* Knowledge of one or more computer systems
* Educated to GCSE or equivalent
* Advanced training course certificate
* Degree in computer studies
Responsibility
* Able to understand and follow department, organisational, and national policy
* Can act on own initiative
* Follow and implement all training processes
Experience
* Evidence of delivering any forms of training
* Extensive experience working for the NHS
* Delivered training within the NHS on clinical systems for at least 6 months
