To administer Town Council Committee’s.
To provide secretarial work for the Mayor and Town Clerk.
To assist with Civic administration as required.
To draft agendas, minutes and finalise in consultation with the Town Clerk, using bespoke IBAB systems for this purpose.
To follow up tasks including updating Action Lists.
To file both hard and electronic copies for management controls.
To attend meetings and take minutes for Council Committee’s held during the evenings and sometimes in the day.
To collate information (reports and supporting papers for agendas and meetings).
Adhere to Standing Orders and ensure best practice approaches are met.
To generally administer Council functions as directed.
Carry out such other duties and responsibilities as may be required commensurate with the duties and responsibilities of.
Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Town Mayor and Town Clerk.
Promote and encourage Policies and Procedures to enhance efficiencies.
