Job summary Specialist Nurse (Apheresis) - Band 6 (0.5 WTE - permanent post) Are you looking for a new, dynamic and different nursing challenge caring for children with cancer? An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced nurse to join the Apheresis Team. We are looking for a paediatric oncology nurse or nurse with apheresis experience. You must have well-developed organisational skills, excellent interpersonal skills and be a strong communicator. You will have an opportunity to work both autonomously and as part of a team, to ensure families are provided with support for a smooth patient experience. The successful candidate will have the support to engage and work with a range of colleagues at all levels and from all professional groups. You will be part of a team delivering ground-breaking treatment to children with life threatening diseases.
