We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes or home care settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality care, while also being able to follow care plans effectively.
Duties
Assist residents or clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the resident's condition.
Drive residents to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety and comfort during transport.
Help create a positive and engaging environment for residents through social interaction and companionship.
Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and safe environment for all.
Experience
Previous experience in a healthcare setting, such as a care home or home care environment, is essential.
Strong communication skills in English are required for effective interaction with residents and team members.
A genuine passion for providing compassionate care and support to individuals in need.
Provide exceptional care and support to clients include helping with mobility, transfers and repositioning to ensure comfort and safety.
Work flexible shifts, ranging from a minimum of 6 hours to a maximum of 14 hours.
Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in the field of care.
