Maths Teacher Annual Salary: £38,989 - £51,062 Location: Feltham Job Type: Full-time, Permanent We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to deliver accredited learning to young people undertaking Maths study programmes, including Functional Skills, GCSE, and A Level, within the offender learning sector. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young people, guiding them through their educational journey. Day-to-day of the role: Deliver high-quality teaching in Maths to students within the offender learning sector. Prepare lesson plans and educational materials that meet curriculum standards. Assess and evaluate students' progress in Maths study programmes. Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests. Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development. Prepare students for qualifications in Functional Skills, GCSE, and A Level Maths. Engage and motivate students, fostering a positive learning environment. Required Skills & Qualifications: Possession of a relevant teaching or training qualification (e.g., QTS, QTLS, DTTLS, PGCE). Proven experience in teaching Maths at various levels, including Functional Skills, GCSE, and A Level. Strong understanding of the mathematical concepts and the ability to convey them effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage and inspire young learners from diverse backgrounds. Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
