Key Account Director
ISS are now recruiting for an experienced Key Account Director to join one of their large, national Financial Services accounts on a permanent basis.
As the Key Account Director, you will be responsible for both the tactical and strategic development of this account as well as the workplace experience and creating memorable moments in line with touchpoints and other key ISS initiatives. You will be specifically accountable for ensuring the delivery model remains in line with the customers’ needs, managing resource, managing key stakeholder relationships (internal & external), managing compliance & risk and developing the communication & relationship strategy.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Overall responsibility for the operational, commercial and safety performance of a major Key Account Customer (circa £44m revenue) with presence across the United Kingdom
* Achievement of various internal Key Performance Indicators
* Own the relationship framework for this key customer, ensuring effective relationships are in place at all levels within the businesses.
* To lead by example, motivate and direct team and front line placemakers
* Ensure that a strong safety culture exists across the contract, with adherence to company processes for risk assessment, training, safe working, accident reporting and investigation (to include root cause analysis)
* Effective management of customer relationships to ensure regular contact is maintained and service delivery expectations are achieved to contractual levels
* To strengthen customer relationships to support contract retention and development, successfully negotiating contract extensions wherever possible to retain contracts and protect margins
* Leadership of the commercial and financial performance of all aspects of the relationship.
* Overall responsibility for the recruitment and development of a highly effective and energised management team and establishment of succession plans for all key positions
* To strengthen and develop existing key account management processes, maintain ADP plans to manage both risks and opportunities
* To identify sales opportunities within existing customers via account growth and cross-sell
* Act as an “Account Champion” to support bid teams in new growth opportunities
* Internal networking across ISS to develop relationships and opportunities, encouraging collaboration to support the company vision and strategy
* Produce professional reports and other documents to meet internal and customer deadlines
Key Requirements:
* Experience of managing full IFM contracts with volume capital projects above base
* Experienced operational management professional in a high value facility service environment across multi-site portfolios
* Must be highly numerate, literate and well presented
* Knowledge of key operational frameworks, e.g., road maps, risk management, planned maintenance systems, quality systems and health & safety legislation.
* Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into successful operational solutions
* High levels of emotional intelligence and self awareness
* To act at all times with integrity and professionalism, demonstrating the ISS values of Honesty, Entrepreneurship, Responsibility, Quality and Unity
* Must be self-motivated, energetic and able to take a flexible and agile approach in a demanding environment
