MLS Client Solutions Executive (12 month fixed term contract or secondment)
Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds or Manchester (3 days per week in the office)
Role Overview
Vario is a market leading alternative legal services provider within the law firm, Pinsent Masons. It is unique in the legal sector. Vario is a practice group within Pinsent Masons which incorporates; Flexible Services, Consulting and Technology, Legal Project Management and Managed Legal Services (‘MLS’). This role will report to our Solutions Director within our focussed and friendly MLS team.
The MLS Solutions team is split between Birmingham, London, Manchester, Glasgow and Amsterdam. They also provide MLS services in Germany and work closely with the German teams to share market intelligence. The MLS Solutions team is supported by a dedicated Marketing function that develops our reputation and brand. The two teams work closely on events, articles, legal directory submissions and marketing materials.
The Client Solutions Executive role is responsible for supporting the delivery of the sales and business development strategy for MLS. This is a challenging, varied role at the cutting edge of change in the legal sector and a chance to be involved in the growth and development of a thriving business. Responsibilities will include:
1. Owning the document production and design of capability statements, RfIs/RfPs and other client-facing material in accordance with the Vario brand
2. Creating and maintaining credentials, collateral and marketing materials
3. Supporting on go-to market strategies for MLS Solutions
4. Owning and updating the MLS Sales Tracker and related reports
5. Leading twice weekly Sales meetings, tracking actions and encouraging progress
6. Working collaboratively to input across panel, service and project RfI/RfPs relevant to MLS to demonstrate benefits to clients
7. Enhancing sales reporting to demonstrate success to the Board and wider firm
8. Working alongside our MI Reporting Manager to ensure opportunity and fee reports reflect activity levels
9. Supporting the Marketing team, where needed, on Vario-run/sponsored events and attending networking activities
This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
Our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, however, we are happy to consider flexible working requests.
Candidate Overview
We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:
1. Previous business development, bids and/or marketing experience
2. Content production, development and editing experience
3. Experience of working in a professional services environment is advantageous but not essential
