Then we are the team for you., The post holder will be responsible for paediatric referral clinics in the community,statutory assessments, initial and review health assessments for children looked after, taking part in assessing referrals working closely and liaising with schools and other CYP multi-disciplinary professionals such as health visitors, school nurses, speech and language therapists, physiotherapy and occupational therapists. The post holder will take part in departmental referral meetings with clinical colleagues and in liaison meetings with other professionals within the locality. You must have full registration with the GMC including a License to Practice and be on the Specialist Register (or be within six months of obtaining their Certificate of Completion of Training).
Our community paediatric service is looking for an energetic and committed doctor to join our multi-disciplinary team. The team comprises 4 consultants, one SAS doctor, two GPs with a special interest in community paediatrics, psychologists, and pharmacists. We are looking to add nurse colleagues to our team. We have received additional funding from our commissioners and are at an exciting time of change in our service. We are looking for someone who will positively contribute to our team, embracing change and willing to be flexible in their approach.
