Due to substantial growth in the business we are looking to expand and require a full time service & repair engineer to join our experienced team.
A.W.Parry Lifts Ltd is an established independently owned lift engineering company which has been serving our customers for over 30 years throughout the South West of England, providing a range of lift services including 24/7 breakdown cover, maintenance, refurbishments, repair, and new installations of all types of lifts.
Our team is dedicated to achieving the highest standards by understanding the needs and expectations of all our customers, therefore this role is open to engineers that have experience working with one or multiple types of lifts and controller manufacturers, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
Position Description:
* Full time/Permanent– working week will be 39 Hours (Monday- Thursday 8-5 & Friday 8-4)
* Manage your own service route and cover call outs during work hours.
* Participate in our 24hr call out rota (1 week in every 6) in Bristol, Bath and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities:
* Working on your own initiative with managing your service routes with minimal supervision
* To provide maintenance and call outs as required in addition to some minor repairs
* Participate in our 24hr call out rota covering Bristol, Bath and surrounding areas. (1 week in every 6)
* Required to work out on sites with attendance at the Office for at least an hour once a week, located Keynsham, Bristol
Requirements:
* NVQ level 3 within lift engineering or equivalent is essential.
* A full, clean driving licence.
* Be self-motivated, have great customer service skills and have the ability to show a high standard of workmanship whilst working under minimal supervision.
* Must have a comprehensive engineering background with the ability to carry out minor repairs on passenger and good lifts of one or multiple manufacturers.
* Excellent health and safety knowledge.
