Exciting opportunity for a full time 37.5 hours per week post.
The East Kent Urgent Treatment Centre Alliance is an innovative collaboration between five experienced providers of Urgent Care in East Kent.
Main duties of the job
The UTC is a 365 day a year service.
The role is for 37.5 hours per week working 12 hour shifts (07:45-20:15) allocated on a rota basis.
1. To greet all patients and visitors on arrival to the Urgent Treatment Centre.
2. To ensure all patients are booked in correctly in a timely manner.
3. Highlight any discrepancies on data or poor quality issues.
4. To answer the telephone, adhering to the Trust telephone standard.
5. To communicate and liaise with other members of the Hospital and Alliance.
6. To assist senior staff with ad-hoc projects as required.

Person specification
Qualification and Training
* Good level of math’s and English.
* NVQ level 2.
Skills and Experience
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent keyboard skills.
* Understanding of the role and the NHS.
* Advanced computer systems awareness.
* Experience in a receptionist/administration/ward clerk role.
