Due to recent expansion, our client, a leading manufacturing organisation have a requirement for a CNC programmer to join their established team.
Candidates should have experience of:
Creation and modification of CNC programs using Siemens NX, that facilitates the machining of production parts to engineering design.
Analyse part designs to plan logical machining strategy.
Verification of CNC programs using the appropriate software prior to production release.
Performs all programming assignments using own initiative.
Ability to work to tight schedules.
Ensure a safe working environment is set and maintained.
Any other duties as required to support business needs.
Essential Criteria:
2+ years experience in 3 axis CNC Programming using a recognized CAD/CAM system.
1+ years experience in 5 axis CNC programming using a recognized CAD/CAM system.
2+ year relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
