Head of Estates, Sustainability, and Safety Salary: up to £80,000 Location: Leeds - hybrid working (2 days a week on site, 3 days at home) We are working with a leading organisation that is seeking a forward-thinking Head of Estates to drive the transformation and modernisation of their estates in alignment with their strategic goals for 2025-2030. This is a pivotal role for someone who excels in estate management, leadership, and sustainability initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive, multi-year estates strategy that aligns with the organisation’s operational and environmental objectives, particularly its 2025-2030 vision. Lead the Estates, Facilities, Health & Safety, and Sustainability functions to ensure alignment with strategic priorities, driving innovation and operational excellence. Collaborate with executive leadership, regulators, and external partners to integrate the estates strategy with broader organisational goals. Foster a culture of innovation and efficiency across the estates team, promoting best practices and modernisation initiatives. Manage the estates budget effectively, ensuring cost-efficient solutions while meeting sustainability targets. Lead sustainability efforts, particularly in carbon management, and ensure compliance with all statutory regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental requirements. Drive cultural and operational change within the estates team to futureproof the estate and ensure adaptability to technological and operational advancements. About You: The ideal candidate will bring: Extensive experience in senior estates management, with strategic oversight of large, complex property portfolios. Proven leadership ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams. A track record of delivering transformative estate projects that align with organisational goals. Strong knowledge of property management, sustainability, asset optimisation, and compliance. Experience in driving modernisation initiatives to meet future needs. Relevant degree or professional qualification (e.g., RICS or equivalent).
