Flexible Working Pattern - Monday - Friday 8am 4pm
We are looking for enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals to join our Specialist Services Admin Team. The roles will be based at Jenner House, Unit E3, Langley Park, Avon Way, Chippenham SN15 1GG. There may also be opportunities to hot desk from other Wiltshire Health and Care sites.
The post holder will play an important role within the wider admin team to provide efficient and comprehensive administrative support to clinicians and managers. Duties will include (but not limited to), data inputting, telephone queries, care records management, scanning etc.
Our Specialist Services includes Diabetes, Dietetics, Orthotics, Physio, Podiatry, Respiratory & Speech & Language Therapy.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a compassionate approach to supporting patient care and service improvements. You must be able to build effective working relationships, be approachable and accessible with a flexible approach to work. The essential requirements of this post are good telephone manner, high level communication skills and attention to detail. You will have good organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. We have a full electronic patient record system which is central to our work, so accurate record keeping is critical, and you must be able to concentrate in a busy working environment.

Experience of patient administration systems would be advantageous.

1. Excellent customer service skills
2. experience of working with a range of Microsoft Office packages ( Word, Outlook & Teams)
3. Experience of inputting accurate and timely data onto electronic systems
4. Ability to treat all patient and other hospital information confidentially
5. The ability to communicate basic or sensitive information to colleagues, patients and relatives
