Role Overview
You'll need to be extremely passionate, methodical, organised, and compliant Furniture Co-Ordinator from within the Design & Build, Fit-Out, Dealer, or Manufacturing sector with an acute eye for detail and a passion for supporting the team. You'll be part of a highly dynamic, creative, and entrepreneurial team. As a Furniture Coordinator, the general purpose of the role is to work alongside the Sales team, supporting them with product selections and quotations to secure client business. Overseeing and managing projects from order placement to completion and other administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Support
2. Direct liaison with client and main Salesperson regarding finalising specifications to the point of order.
3. Responsibility for projects once handed over from sales through to coordination of handover to Project Manager (the main salesperson still retains overall responsibility).
4. Manage additional or ad hoc client requests in liaison with the salesperson.
5. Refer all commercial decisions back to the salesperson, but have commercial awareness.
6. Putting together quotes based on drawings and a brief.
7. Sending POs to suppliers and liaising with the supply chain based on any queries.
8. Receiving and checking order acknowledgements against orders placed.
9. Creation of delivery schedules and onsite support during the installation process.
10. Working with the design team to ensure drawings and presentations are correct.
11. Checking invoices and signing off against orders placed.
12. Production of O&M Manuals.
13. Project completion review.
