We are seeking enthusiastic Production Operatives to join our dedicated team and contribute to our continued success
Job overview:
Helping to produce medical devices at the plant in Plymouth you would get involved in all aspects of the production cycle from operating moulding machines to quality control to Continuous Improvement, honing your transferable skills in manufacturing.

Job Title: Production operative
Pay Rate: £11.44 - £ 18.13
Location: Plymouth, PL6 7BP
Job type: Temp - ongoing
Hours of Work:
5. 11:00-23:00 continuous days 3 days on 3 days off
6. Standard Nights 23:00-07:00
7. continuous night shifts 23:00-11:00 3 Continuous on 3 days off
Workers are given a shift pattern which remains the same until further notice.
Responsibilities:
8. To prepare, operate and clean moulding / packaging equipment and to meet production targets
9. To carry out on-line quality checks to the required standards on finished products and components
10. To follow all standard operating procedures and have knowledge of process control systems
11. To handle and store products safely and efficiently
12. To meet strict Quality Assurance requirements
13. To operate to BDPS standards through procedural and documentation compliance and achieving the highest standards of Good Manufacturing Practice and housekeeping through regular cleaning regimes
14. To understand and follow all Company Policies
15. To have the flexibility to work within cross-functional teams on any aspect of the packaging operation subject to production requirements and appropriate training
16. To be actively involved and meeting targets for raised Health and Safety, Quality and Continuous Improvement initiatives
17. To complete process control sheets
18. To have the technical aptitude to carry out operator routine maintenance
Requirements:
19. Applicants must be computer literate
20. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK and be able to provide proof of this
21. Applicants must be over 18 years old
