What you'll do
The Crypto, Logistics and Health and Safety team are one arm of the VBSE Security team delivering to and supporting internal and external customers all within the defined security and quality processes and policies. As the Custodian and HSE Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of cradle to grave Cryptographic account Reporting and Management. Additionally, you will be responsible for:
1. Ensuring the appropriate Health, Safety and Environmental measures and compliance are in place and adhered to across the whole of VBSE.
2. Managing the VBSE Logistics function, including accounting and transportation of assets, destruction across all sites and customer services are correctly facilitated.
3. Ensuring the VBSE Custodian team maintains and controls its COMSEC holdings and documentation inline with HMG IA4, JSP 490 and Customer policies and directives.
4. Management of internal investigations and remedial actions from H&S audits, quarterly site checks, near misses and incidents etc. Responsible for all VBSE H&S requirements including Safety cases, Risk Assessments, ensuring representation at safety working groups, change boards or other safety meetings.
5. Ensuring that VBSE operates and complies with the latest HSE policies & directives, arrange for quarterly H&S audits at all VBSE sites and follow up observations, ensure mandatory fire and evacuation training is completed by all annually, arrange for the annual Fire Risk Assessment and resolve any actions, act as the central POC for all H&S matters relating to the department.
6. Liaising with Vodafone H&S for policy and First Aid/AED/Evac Chair quarterly returns and maintenance requests.
Who you are
* Extensive knowledge of HMG IA4, JSP 490 and experience of running a Crypto account, Cell and managing Crypto assets at all Tiers of the HMG Classification Scheme.
* Detailed knowledge and experience of HSE law and ability to deliver HSE governance and obligations in a business context and understanding of HMG H&S requirements.
* Understanding of logistics, Defence Logistics Framework and HMG HG Destruction.
* Ability to maintain Customer Confidentiality and able to gain and maintain lead customer Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance.
* Excellent interpersonal and team working skills.
* Understanding of Logistics and Secure disposal.
Security Clearance: This position requires the eligibility and ability to obtain and hold UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.
