Job Title: Recruitment and Onboarding Supervisor
Location: Medway & Swale
Salary: £25,400 per year
Hours: Full-time – Monday to Friday, 8.30am–5.00pm
Bonus: Performance-based bonus scheme
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role:
We’re looking for someone organised, proactive and people-focused to take on the role of Recruitment and Onboarding Supervisor for our Medway and Swale territories. This is a full-time position where you’ll take the lead on bringing new care professionals into the business – from first contact through to their first few weeks in the role.
You’ll also be part of the on-call team, helping to keep things running smoothly out of hours when needed.
Alongside the day-to-day work, we’re doing some exciting things behind the scenes with technology – including rolling out a new ATS (Applicant Tracking System) and exploring how AI can support our hiring and onboarding processes. You’ll be right at the heart of that innovation, helping shape how we do things in the future.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Managing the recruitment process from start to finish – advertising, interviews, DBS checks, references and everything in between
* Making sure new team members have a positive, well-organised start with us
* Supporting and helping shape the rollout of our new applicant tracking system (ATS)
* Using (and learning more about) AI tools to make our recruitment and onboarding more efficient
* Working closely with the care team to make sure we’re bringing in the right people at the right time
* Helping out with recruitment campaigns – social media, job fairs, community outreach
* Keeping recruitment records up to date and in line with our safer recruitment standards
* Being part of the out-of-hours on-call rota – covering care calls where needed and handling urgent issues
What We’re Looking For:
* Someone with experience in recruitment, HR, or onboarding (ideally in the care sector, but we’re open)
* Good communication skills – whether that’s talking to people, writing emails, or updating systems
* Comfortable with technology – not an IT expert, but confident using systems and open to learning new tools
* Organised, reliable, and able to manage your time well
* Someone who enjoys working as part of a team but can also crack on independently
* Full UK driving licence (max 6 points) and business insurance (Class 1)
* Willing to take part in the on-call rota
What You’ll Get:
* A full-time role with a salary of £25,400
* Bonus scheme based on team performance
* NHS top-up cash healthcare benefit
* Involvement in shaping new systems and tech that will change how we recruit
* A supportive team who care about the work we do
* Room to grow and develop in the role
