The Post:
Corporate Governance are looking to recruit a Senior Corporate Services Officer to join our small team. The post holder will provide a high level of administrative support to Board Members, the Board and Governance Committees, ensuring delivery of an effective, efficient and quality service at all times.
The postholder will be expected to deputise for the Head of Corporate Governance as appropriate.
The Candidate:
As the successful candidate you will possess a relevant degree, or a recognised equivalent qualification in Administration or Business Management, plus significant relevant practical experience, including formal minute taking experience.
You will be conversant with office procedures and systems and have excellent written, communication and analytical skills. You must also be confident handling and prioritising a diverse workload including matters of a highly confidential and sensitive nature. Excellent organisational skills are essential along with the ability to promote and present a positive image of the Board and its services
Location, Working Pattern and Contract Duration:
This post will be based at The Balfour
The successful candidate will work: Part Time 22.2 Hours per week
This post is on a Fixed-Term Basis for 12 months due to maternity cover
It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with NHS Orkney.

The salary for this post is on a Band 5 £31,892 - £39,735 and if residing on Orkney, you’ll also receive a Distant Islands Allowance of £1,587 pro rata per year, adding extra value to your rewarding career with us.
