SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Dudley Salary: £425 to £450 per week Contract: Temporary to Full Time Hours: Monday to Friday (8:30 to 3:30pm) Do you have experience as a support worker or care assistant? Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistants who has a passion for supporting young people to join their team in an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ SEN school. The successful candidate should be available full-time (Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 15:30pm). Our client school is based in Dudley and caters for pupils aged 4 – 19 who have severe and profound learning difficulties including high levels of autism and complex medical needs. The school provides personalised support that utilises the young person’s Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) to help to overcome any learning challenges. Your role with be to provide additional support to the students in the school, this could be on a 1:1 or small group basis. Candidates will be expected to support the teacher with general classroom and behaviour management and should show willingness to deal with personal care as this is a requirement of the role.
