Job Summary
Our people business partners are senior members of the People team and also senior managers in the Trust. The role champions best practice people interventions to ensure that the wider service is focused on supporting managers to achieve quality outcomes for our service users in line with the Trust's strategic objectives and corporate values.
We are now looking to appoint a third people business partner to cover our Camden Unit and our Department of Education and Training. This is on a fixed-term contract or secondment basis.

About Us
The People team is responsible for organisation-wide People strategy, policies, and procedures. This includes taking leadership and developing strategy, policy, and service development in the following areas: business partnering, employee relations, organisational development, culture, engagement, EDI, and people operations.

Person Specification
Essential Qualifications:
* Degree level education or equivalent experience.
* Postgraduate qualification in HR or ability to demonstrate the breadth of expertise in this area of specialism.
* Chartered Member of the CIPD or nearing completion of membership assessment.
* Evidence of ongoing continuous professional development.
* Previous proven experience as a senior people advisor, people manager or people business partner, working with multi-professional teams and disciplines.
* Experience of working with trade unions.
* NHS experience.
* Experience of working in a mental health organisation.
* Ability to think and act strategically.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to develop and write policy, guidance, board and other reports.
* Ability to build effective relationships with senior operational and clinical managers.
* Ability to influence, guide, challenge and persuade at all levels of the organisation.
* Ability to deliver on the most challenging issues.
* Excellent knowledge of current people processes and practices.
* Demonstrable knowledge of current and forthcoming employment law.
* Able to demonstrate a commitment to and a desire to live by the Trust's values.
