Quality Inspector
Location: Staverton, Gloucestershire
Hours: Monday–Thursday: 08:00–16:30 (or 07:30–16:00), Friday: 08:00–15:00 (or 07:30–14:30)

Brief overview of the job role:
Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to ensure their products and processes meet the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct inspections and tests, and play a key role in maintaining product compliance with engineering drawings and standards.
Key responsibilities of a Quality Inspector:
1. Perform dimensional inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and other precision measuring tools.
2. Verify product compliance with engineering drawings and relevant standards.
3. Utilize a variety of measurement devices, including torque drivers, micrometers, and height gauges.
4. Document inspection results and prepare detailed reports.
5. Identify and report non-conformances, recommending corrective actions where necessary.
6. Support continuous improvement initiatives by collaborating with production and engineering teams.
7. Monitor and perform internal calibrations of measuring and testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
8. Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the quality department.
Key skills of a Quality Inspector:
1. Proficiency in operating CMMs and interpreting CMM data.
2. Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
3. Familiarity with a wide range of measurement tools and techniques.
4. Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
5. Previous experience in a quality inspection or similar role.
