Role Overview:
The Talent Set is thrilled to be working with a leading charity as they search for a Community Fundraiser to support them on a fantastic 3-month role.
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with individuals, groups, and businesses, inspiring them to support the charity s cause and ensuring they feel valued every step of the way. Experience with Raiser's Edge will be crucial in helping you manage relationships and maximise fundraising opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and nurture relationships with community groups, schools, local businesses, and individuals to inspire and support fundraising initiatives.
* Plan and deliver community fundraising events and campaigns, ensuring income targets are met or exceeded.
* Provide excellent support and guidance to fundraisers, ensuring they feel valued and have the tools they need to succeed.
* Use Raiser's Edge to maintain accurate records of supporters, track interactions, and identify opportunities for growth.
* Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support community fundraising activities.
* Monitor, evaluate, and report on income and activity, ensuring accurate and timely updates to the fundraising team.
* Work closely with the wider fundraising and marketing teams to align community fundraising activities with broader campaigns and organisational goals.
Person Specification:
* Proven experience in community fundraising or a related role, with a track record of meeting income targets.
* Proficiency in using Raiser's Edge or a similar CRM system to manage supporter data and analyse opportunities.
* Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to engage and motivate a wide range of supporters.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to inspire supporters and promote the charity s work.
* Experience in planning, promoting, and delivering successful fundraising events and campaigns.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of the charity sector and community fundraising best practices.
* Creative and innovative thinker, able to identify and develop new fundraising opportunities.
* Experience in volunteer recruitment and management.
* Financial literacy, with the ability to prepare budgets for events and campaigns.
* Self-motivated and results-driven, with a positive attitude.
* A team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
* Passionate about making a difference and committed to the charity s mission.
* Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work evenings or weekends for community events.

* A flexible working pattern with 3-days per-week from the organisation s Hillingdon base.
* A competitive day rate of £126.48 per-day + £15.74 daily holiday for the successful candidate.
