Job Description
The Purchase Ledger Assistant will be responsible for:
3. Managing the accounts payable process
4. Matching batching and coding invoices and disbursements
5. Preparing payment schedules
6. Processing expenses and company credit card transactions
7. Query resolution
8. Daily and monthly bank reconciliations
9. Assisting with Legal Cashiering duties
10. Reviewing payment and receipt requisitions and posting client transactions
11. Conducting searches such as HMLR, HMCTS, and Companies House
The Successful Applicant
The successful Purchase Ledger Assistant will have:
12. A proven track record within a similar role, ideally from within the legal industry
13. A strong knowledge of accounts payable processes
14. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
15. A knowledge of accountancy systems
16. Strong Excel skills
17. The ability to commute to Chester
