Are you passionate about culture and ready to make a meaningful impact? We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Cultural Development Manager to join our thriving team and drive the delivery of our ambitious cultural strategy
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of culture in West Lindsey and play a pivotal role in connecting with key areas such as leisure, tourism, health and wellbeing, and sustainable development.
As the Cultural Development Manager, you will provide the strategic leadership needed to implement the Council’s newly adopted strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
• Coordinate cultural development initiatives and advocate for cultural funding.
• Lead fundraising efforts and support long-term cultural projects.
• Build and maintain partnerships with key agencies and cultural organisations.
• Develop innovative cultural programs that engage diverse audiences and support local priorities.
A key aspect of the role is building strong partnerships and fostering relationships with key agencies and institutions, such as Arts Council England and the University of Lincoln, to support cultural growth and development across the district.
We are looking for a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, a passion for culture, and a proven track record of working with cultural organisations and individual practitioners.
The ideal candidate will have experience delivering innovative and inspirational cultural initiatives that attract and engage diverse audiences. You should be able to work independently and collaboratively, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
